Santa Claus, often known as Santa is a figure associated with Christmas. It has its origins in the Father Christmas of England, the Sinterklaas of Netherlands and other gift giving figures from all over the world. Saint Nicholas, a gift giver from historical tales is believed to be the origin of Santa Claus. He is usually depicted as a jolly fellow with a white beard and moustache, travelling on his reindeer driven sleigh to give gifts.
